As a local business, Hammer and Nails is creating beautiful, livable, and sustainable homes for their own community. They make the process as streamlined and stress-free as possible for their clients; after all, clients are future neighbors.
FIND THE LAND
We search for a plot of land in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area that inspires a design for home.
PLAN & DESIGN
We collaborate with clients, but take on most of the detail work ourselves in order to relieve the client of the stress of making constant small decisions.
LOCATION-SPECIFIC DESIGN
We consider the shape of the property when designing a home, so the home feels intrinsic to the landscape.
BUILD & COMMUNICATION
We provide live communications with the client throughout the building process, including pictures and weekly updates.
STRESS-FREE MOVE-IN
We stick to our building timeline which helps make moving in a stress-free experience for the client.

COMMUNITY
We have strong relationships, some over 20 years old, with local professional subcontractors and town officials in the area.
COMMUNICATION
We keep clients in the loop with weekly updates and pictures and live communications throughout the building process. Since we purposefully take on only 2-3 projects a year, we can give diligent attention to each client.
