Locals to the area, John Birkholz and Jenn Barr are building homes for their own future neighbors and community members. With John as the builder/contractor and Jenn as the interior designer, their interest in and care for their community drive them to build homes that they would feel proud to live in themselves.
Our Approach
Hammer and Nails gives meticulous attention to every building project they take on. They consider the shape of the land when designing a home, create realistic and clear timelines for the client, and maintain live communications throughout the building process.
Hammer and Nails gives clients a stress-free and seamless experience by providing space for input from the client, but not overwhelming the client by asking them to make each small decision. John and Jenn also keep their projects locally sourced, and have built great relationships, some over 20 years old, with professional subcontractors and town officials in the area.
